What is IV Vitamin Therapy?
IV vitamin therapy was first developed by Dr. John Myers in the 1970s. His research led to the development of the first IV vitamin therapy, the Myers’ Cocktail.
Since then, additional therapies have been developed to address a variety of health concerns, heal the body, and optimize it for health.
IV vitamin infusions are performed by injecting a mixture of vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients directly into the bloodstream in order to quickly and efficiently deliver them to the body.
The vitamins are administered in one of two ways, through an IV drip that takes a minimum of 60 minutes, or a quick intramuscular injection (also called a vitamin shot).
